BreadTop is an Asian inspired franchise that have popped up all over Melbourne. They offer bakery products with an asian influence.

This doughtnut is no exception, a cinnamon dusting replaced by a black seasame and sugar dusting - bitter to the taste and highly original. It goes well with the sweetness of the sugar. However it is let down by an oily, bready dough that is perhaps not light enough.

I must say however I am looking forward to their other doughnuts - such as the cinnamon twist, the custard doughnut and the savoury Chicken and Mushroom doughnut.
