Coming baked, not fried the Bretzel Jam Berliner is a perhaps healthier than the fried variety (not that I am concerned about that).

It had a bready texture and had a stock standard jam filling that was acceptable to me. However it seemed more like a sweet fruit bun you get from the bakers to me - not really a true doughnut.
