Well I have travelled the world a few times since that memorable experience in a Miraflorean Dunkin Donuts'.

And this came very, very close to repeating that truly memorable experience. We have a soft pillow like doughnut with a generous covering of cinnamon-sugar powder.

It was very well presented in this regard. Biting into this soft cloud of dough was excellent, however the dough was not quite as buttery and light as the Dunkin Donuts version - a common affliction in Australian doughnuts. The fresh apple strudel-like filling was of high quality, but I thought could have been more generous.

Still it was impressive and almost tears of nostalgia to my eyes.
