As mentioned several times on this site, the apple cinnamon combination is my favourite combination of flavours. And here a very good attempt has been made with this filled doughnut.

Of course one of the best doughnuts in the world is the Dunkin Donuts Apple.

The golden doughnut arrives, the top dusted neatly with a brown cinnamon-sugar. It does look quite appealing and upon first bite the flavours do mix quite well. The apple filling is pleasant enough, however as per the Doughbouys original glaze, the bready dough is a bit of a let down.

Slightly overpriced at $2.75.
