Well as you should all be aware Apple and Cinnamon flavoured doughnuts are high on my recommended list.

This Doughbuoys variation is unfortunately not up to it's competitors from Daylight Donuts or Dunkin' Doughnuts.

Unlike those two doughnuts which are soft and pillowy, and completely covered in a cinnamon-sugar covering, this doughnut has a slightly harder edge, and only the top is covered with the cinnamon coating. It lost marks for appearance here.

The dough and the inner apple filling could have been a little sweeter. Still it was quite acceptable.
