The caramel iced ring is an interesting choice. While the dough is the usual solid DD offering, the icing is sweet and sugary – it has a good caramel flavor but you can almost taste the sugar crystals and it seems to have soaked into the dough. Not my favourite, though the good caramel flavor will please those who enjoy that combination.
