Our second flight into Doughnut fusion was another slight disappointment. While I am no Iced Vovo Biscuit connoisseur, I do remeber as a child having one or two when visiting my grandmother.

Again like the Rocky Road, we have a very nicely presented doughnut that delivers little contrast in texture or flavour.

It's a big sugar bomb - I want to taste the coconut (the shreds are too large) topping and the strawberry flavored icing. The taste wasn't distinct enough for my liking I am afraid.

I did enjoy the strawberry and creamy gateaux filling, but again this one needs refinement. A good effort though.
