The first thing I will say about this doughnut is that it looks deliciously evil. Or is that evilly delicious? As you all know I am not a fan of cakey doughnuts. I like them light and fluffy, yet chewy. Despite the fact that I love the crispy outer glaze I feel it's a doughnut trying to be something else.

If you're after a chocolate cake, go and get yourself a proper slice, as while this tastes good, you'd be better served buying a brownie or a mud cake for your chocolate fix.
