The Glazed Cruller (Cruller means curled in Dutch interestingly enough) is an extremely impressive doughnut, and an improvement on the Krispy Kreme Glazed.




Using what is clearly the same original receipe Krispy Kreme has twisted the dough into a starish shape. Not only does it look great, but the extra little twists and turns in the doughnut add to the doughnut experience immensely. The extra surface area provided by the extra edges accentuates the crispiness of the outer glaze against the soft chewiness of the dough. Undersized, but an excellently crafted doughnut.
