A ball of summer sunshine the Krispy Kreme Tropical Tango stands out, a bright yellow amongst the other shades of brown topped doughnuts. And it doesn't disapoint. Like all Krispy Kreme doughnuts, the yellow topping is perfectly iced, not a crack or blemsih to be seen.

Unglazed, I was a little concerned that the doughnut would be a fraction bland (given my previous experience with unglazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts), however the passionfruit flavoured top blended beautifully with a mango flavoured syrup and a gorgeously soft dough.

The syrup deserves special mention. It was a silky smooth syrup, that was not too sweet and reminded me in smoothness of the Dunkin Donuts Apple doughnut - currently my favourite doughnut.

I thoroughly recommend the Krispy Kreme Tropical Tango.
