The glory of the Bear Claw has not made it’s way out to Australia (The Home of The Doughnut Man) yet. I wonder who will be the first to introduce it, because its another glorious taste and textural sensation.

While this particular claw does not look too much like a bear claw, the blob of dough with it’s little nooks and crannies forms a perfect spot for the excellent glaze to form unevenly, resulting in an interesting eating experience.

The crunch of the glaze, and the crunch of the fried claw coating, contrasts excellently with the buttery, but slightly thicker dough. Really good.
