The San Churro store on Brunswick street is not only a stylish tribute to the glory of chocolate, but to the glory of the Spanish Doughnut (“The Churro”) as well. For $7.50, which I still think is a clear case of paying for style over substance you get four perfectly fried churros that are gloriously golden brown in color.
A light dusting of icing sugar, and an accompanying pot of your choice of dark, white, or milk chocolate makes for a perfect snack, for any time of day. The churro perfectly crispy and goes wonderfully with the gooey chocolate. However just eaten by itself, with the light sugar dusting, it holds it’s own. An uncomplicated treat.
They must be making an absolute killing on these...
